Odd. Unique seo question - Can you help?
In terms of the on-site architecture I think that could be improved to rank better, e.g: convert: https://www.nystatemls.com/profiles/NY/SAINT_ALBANS/NEW_YORK_ESTATES_GROUP_INC/Dale_Davids/68966/listings/ to: https://www.nystatemls.com/new-york/saint-albans/new-york-estates-group-inc/dale-davids/ But keep in mind that if you did this, you'd have to do a massive internal 301 redirects project using rapid redirect technology like NginX instead of basic web.config / .htaccess mods (and NginX redirects aren't even available on all server types) to cover the change in architecture. I think it could be a good move but with that volume of URLs you'd need a forensic approach Yes I do think basic SEO training for your members would be good, allowing them to access the H1, <title>, URL slug and Meta Description fields could be very useful. Also allowing them to set bespoke FB OG / Twitter Card share images (1200x630 for dimensions) as well as OG titles and descriptions, could significantly boost your traffic intake across SEO and social - but only if these fields were used correctly. Maybe you'd want to isolate some of the best profiles and take over the Meta updates yourself, to ensure they are 'proper'</p> <p>Incentivisation could be an issue. Yes these guys already promote their own listings, but getting them to do basic keyword research and Meta updates could be a big ask. A review system would be good. Say someone updates this data, then you review it and give it the 'good' stamp of approval - maybe they could get slightly enhanced listings for a duration in some way. Make it worth their while and you will really benefit!</p> <p> </p></title>

Back link plan discussion
Appreciate the answer. That was sort of my game plan to pick out our top 4 keywords that we aren't ranked on Google spots 1-3 but would bring us back the most volume of traffic. I do have four keywords like this that we are are either at the bottom of page 1 or on page 2 & if we obtained a better rank could bring back 11,500 to 30,000 per-keyword. I just didn't want to focus on only 4 keywords by trying to get anchored text links or high quality links by manually reaching out to sites for only those four keywords if there was another plan to distribute more juice to a wider variety of words. But you are correct that is the issue with coming up with a plan, that we have so many keywords some that bring back little traffic some that bring back a lot and how do we focus on the many or should we just focus on the four for now and then focus on a new set once a goal is accomplished.

Exact Domain Match does it help or distract?
I don’t think it will do much. Unless you’re current domain is really no doing well. It would need constant content to rank well.

5xx Crawl Issue might not be issues at all. Help
Hi there! Thanks so much for the great question! I'm so sorry to hear you're having this trouble with the 5xx errors. To resolve this we'd recommend adding a crawl delay for rogerbot to your robots.txt file. That crawl delay would look something like this: User-agent: rogerbot Crawl-delay: 10 This will tell our crawler to slow down when it's crawling. We do not recommend using a crawl delay of longer than 10 as this can keep the crawl from completing. As far as whether this is impacting Google's ability to crawl, I'm really not able to help identify that. I'm so sorry about that! The best suggestion I can make would be to check the server logs for your site to see how it is responding to other crawlers you may be concerned about. If you have any other questions about rogerbot or the our tools, please feel free to send an email on over to help@moz.com.

Domain and Sub-Domain Question
If what you are doing is working then don't change it! IF your business grows enough to be worth it then fold NY into the larger site. If NY is the primary target, just keep both of them for now. You can refer all the NY traffic that is coming to the MY page to the NY page.
