Google analytic's API information
Hi Bob, Can I ask what you mean by MIS - Management information system? I can't specifically answer your question but I assume you have seen the official Google documentation here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/v4/ Also, I don't suppose you've considered Google Data Studios: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/data-studio/ or a connector with Google Sheets? Both of these platforms are growing increasingly popular within the Digital Marketing Community. Kind regards, Nick

Spam links and Domain Authority
Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here - thanks so much for reaching out! So, a couple of things - when you disavow a link through Google, it doesn't actually remove the link, Google just stops putting SEO weight into it. So our crawler will still find the link. Unfortunately there isn't a way in Link Explorer to "disavow" a link yet so we will still show it. Disavowing a link doesn't take it away from our tools, so they will still appear as backlinks to your site. The fact that Google disregards them in relation to your site does not take them off the sites they are on, so best practice is to approach the webmaster first and request the link be removed. If you get no response then disavow with Google:). I also want to note a couple of things about your DA drop in general - overall, seeing your DA drop is a fairly common problem and can be attributed to a few things: 1.Links we previously discovered are now marked as lost. 2. You've earned more links, but the highest authority sites have grown their link profile even more. 3. The links you've earned are from sites that we haven't seen correlate well with higher Google rankings. 4. We've done a better or worse job crawling sites/pages that have links to you (or don't). It's a bit difficult to isolate the exact cause of what happened without your own SEO consultant or developer being able to take a dive into this, but you can definitely read more specific information here if you'd like to understand more about the process:). Something else to note is that on March 5th, we rolled out an entirely new DA calculation method, which affected the DA of many sites. You can read more about this update here https://moz.com/domain-authority-2.0. Do let us know if we can help with anything else!

Please help need some advice?
Hello! You probably don't need to do anything, Google will likely know the difference. You can disavow them if you'd like just to be safe. Unless you see traffic drop and rankings drop (for no other known reason) they are likely not affecting the site.

Homepage is deindexed in Google
Hi Bob, It seems you got your webpage back on the google listing, let me tell you few of the reasons and also give tips for rankings better on search engines. Hidden text or hidden links within your website Automated queries to Google which an errant script or malware can be sending to google or other websites. Virus or Malware on the page. Spam reports about the website. Canonical error domains with a substantially duplicate content error being shown due to www, non-www, https, http etc versions. How you can avoid this kind of situation and up your ranks on google: Regularly watch the messages and alerts that google search console/webmaster sends. These are very important as Google has only this way of informing the webmaster about errors and problems on the website. Google gives authority and importance to secure websites, Install a security certificate on the website, move to Https using professional help. Install a good quality anti-virus, anti-malware on the website hosting. Website hosts also have this facility, check with your hosting provider. I hope this helps , let me know if you have further queries. Regards, Vijay

Server and multiple sites
If the look and feel is different on each site and each has it's own content it would not really matter. Just be careful interlinking those site with each other. If you can assign each website with their own IP that would be the best!

Ctr question with home page and product pages
It's probably correct, but in the long term you probably still want to make sure the product term is ranking. Although in the end it's all about the bottom line just to make sure you're getting more conversions.

HTTPS and server questions
Albeit your answer is correct, Google itself states in its guidelines page about Multilingual and Multiregional websites that - due to the diffusion and mainstream use of cloud hosting - that the physical localization of a server is not anymore considered as a prominent geotargeting factor. Therefore, I would consider having a server in a hosting located in the same country we are targeting, if the latency really may mean the difference between a slow and a fast website. If it doesn't... I would not worry about its location.

How much value does these have on SEO?
Hi Bob, Gaston has linked to a good resource regarding migrating to HTTPS, which has been made into a "moment of truth" for businesses who don't follow Google's lead on this in 2017. For more on this, I recommend: http://streetfightmag.com/2017/10/02/the-impending-httpstrophe/ Regarding your other questions, if your business is digital/virtual, you don't necessarily need an address, but it's a trust signal to have one, and you should at least have a phone number if you want customers to feel you're a real company. If your business is local, a physical address (even if it's your home address) and dedicated phone number are prerequisites. Without them, you don't really have a local business, and won't be able to fully market your company as one. Hope this helps!

Serp Stars?
I've never seen rich snippets on a homepage and I don't think it's possible to get them (but would love to be proven wrong). Google's review snippet guidelines say that the ratings must refer clearly to a specific product or service. In almost all cases, this wouldn't be applicable to the homepage of a site. The only possibility might be if you had a one page, one product site... Cheers, David

Tool to help find blog / news pages?
Hi there If you have ScreamingFrog you can run a crawl on the websites in question to see what they have. Although that could take some time if you do a site one by one. Otherwise, you can do a manual "site:example.com inurl:news", "site:example.com inurl:blog", "site:example.com blog", or "site:example.com news". Either way, this will take some time as I'm not sure there is a tool specifically for this type of task. Might I suggest using tools like Majestic, BuzzSumo, or SEMRush to find a website's top ranked or linked to pages. You can quickly filter through to blog or news articles and see what content is working best for particular sections of sites. From there you can prioritize your efforts and work accordingly. Hope this helps a bit! Good luck! Patrick

Link check via open site explorer not working?
Hi Bob, Gaston is absolutely correct - Links will only be updated as MOZ finds the links as it trawls the web. I did have a quick look on Ahrefs for you and it shows 35 referring domains and 70 backlinks, so it does indeed look like you are growing links steadily. -Andy

Deleteing old page and passing on link strenth?
Bob, generally speaking it's best to redirect users to the page that's most appropriate. Think of the users and what page they would land on--and be redirected to. If they were looking for an old product page and just redirected to the home page, would that be frustrating for them? When it comes to an actual search engine ranking lift or boost, you most likely won't see one. You only would just not rank anymore for those products that you used to offer. There still may be a boost if you were to redirect an old product page to another page and there were links pointing to the old product page from external websites. Then, the boost might be passed on to the product page you redirect to.

New website on new url?
I agree with the responses here: having two sites is generally not the way forward. I just want to add one other option. Most people who received link-based penalties were building links to 2 or 3 pages. If that's the case you could 301 redirect most of the site on a page level and let the pages with bad links 404. If you have cleared the penalty it might not even be an issue to 301 redirect the whole domain. Just make sure that you update your disavow on the new domain.

Website not moving?
How long has the site been up? What about IP? Good content and links are how you build a good strong site, but there are many other factors at play here. It seems from SEM Rush that IP has been around a bit longer and might be ahead of you in terms of business development on the web (marketing, link building, outreach, etc.). Are you focusing on one area of printing in particular? What do your goals look like?
