I'm not a fan of trying to stuff with keywords, but I do try and make sure they are in the URL (not always possible), in the title, description and somewhere towards the top of the page - usually an H1 or title of some sort.
If you really must try and hit a percentage, don't ever try and go for more than about 4-5% (an an absolute max).
Google tell us that in the first part of the page they should get a feeling for what it is about...
So...
Andy
Hi,
Is this terrible SEO wise?
Not really - it just means that Google can see that there is a page they can't access so are informing you of this. There is no negative penalty that is going to come from this. If there were old pages that are now 404's then it would be a different story.
I just want to be sure of something - were the pages previously open to Google? Are they currently indexed?
-Andy
That's a huge question Ravi. Is there something you feel you are missing or a reason you think you might have technical issues?
Technical covers a multitude of sins and can be anything from structure to duplication or protocol issues.

Without mentioning the platforms you work with, you are never going to have brand influence until someone visits your website.
However, brand management is not a 2 minute subject as there are nuances that need to be looked at such as who your audience are, where they find you, opportunities to name-drop, how you advertise, how you are perceived - the list goes on.
So are you looking to piggy-back your service based on the platforms that you work with? or just build a brand of your own?
Andy
Hi Peter,
First of all, I would ensure the page is noindexed as this will prevent issues. As long as the page is followed (don't set nofollow) then page rank will flow from this. All noindex does is prevent Google from showing the page. However, this will only benefit other pages linked from there as you will get pass-through page rank - Google isn't going to rank a noindexed page or one that is just duplication.
Is there a way I can build quality links to it that benefit my overall websites DA
So to answer your question, yes.
Alternatively, try and get people to link to your homepage?

There has been some algorithm fluctuations happening in the last couple of weeks, but these are not related to any of the big updates and for the most part, appear to have settled down now. I would say it tied in quite well with that.
Have a read of this post here.
-Andy
Hope you get this sorted out guys, but you are probably going to get a faster answer if you create a support request and let someone take a look for you.
Andy
OK so first because some are indexed, if you block access, they will never be removed.
What you will need to do is add a noindex tag to the pages but don't block access to them so that Google can honour the noindex. Remove the pages via Search Console and once you have confirmed these are all removed from the index, you will be good to then block access via robots.txt.
As CleverPhD said, ideally you don't want pages in the index that can't be crawled, but it isn't likely to cause a penalty of any sort (I have a client with about 70-80 blocked - long story - no issues in 12 months) if you are stuck because of Megento - Perhaps research to see how others have got around this?
-Andy
Well, I wouldn't ignore what is on your site altogether. If Google has done an update and you are seeing a lot of fluctuation, resulting in a drop, then there is something amiss.
Conduct an Audit of your site to see if there are issues that can be resolved.
-Andy
Are you able to paste your Robots.txt file here so we can have a look? Failing all else, if you mail support, you will get an answer from the guys at SEOmoz with what is going on if you think there is still a problem.
Perhaps others who use the rank tracking can offer something additional.

Hi,
I can't see any reason why Google would object to this. Mobile and desktop sites are often very different and have different elements showing - in fact, I can't think of many where they are identical in terms of showing everything.
My own site hides elements from Google via mobile (option via the theme) and I make good use of this as you don't want a huge page on mobile - it's about quick conversions and getting the point across on a much smaller screen.
-Andy
I would have a read of this post Gareth. It runs though some great pointers on Amazon optimisation. There is another good article here on SEJ.
I hope this helps.

You will need to use a package that allows you to track competitors. I'm not sure MOZ lets you do that, unless you had a pro account and just used you allocation on your own site and others.
There are lots of tracking apps out there though.
-Andy
Hi,
Have you noindexed & nofollowed the site and pages? I would also suggest you block all crawlers by disallowing access in the robots.txt file.
Do you know if this has all been done?
-Andy
Hi Erik,
How are you trying to do the redirect? Can you share the code? I'm not an .htaccess guru, but some of the guys here are.
-Andy
Hi,
First of all, disavowing will have nothing to do with the number of duplication warnings you get. This can only affect inbound links and even then, you won't see any drop in these through Webmaster Tools.
What are you using to see the duplicate pages?
-Andy
Hi Todd,
Just to check, is the site setup in terms of Google listing / local? Have you used any Structured Data on the site? Are you pulling in reviews from the likes of Yelp?
I doubt that something running on a subdomain is going to be the cause of your issues, but without delving into it, I can't be sure.
What sort of search terms are you trying to improve the rankings for?
-Andy
Keyword stuffing is always a tricky one as sometime common sense means that there are multiple mentions of a word, but if it is in the menu structure, then it is seen as less of an issue. However, when I look at that page, there are a lot of occurrences in the content and when reading that, it actually sounds quite unnatural. 17 mentions in just a few hundred words is more than I would be comfortable with.
-Andy
You can get problems with duplicate content from all over the web, but a disavow would have absolutely no impact on this. That is to distance you from external links that you don't wish to be associated with.
As this is a something related to the MOZ products, I can't give you an answer on that I'm afraid.
Have you made no actual changes to the site that could account for this? If you can, re-categorise this post to include Product Support.
