In my opinion you should use 301 redirect at first instance to pass all link value. Unlike the 301 redirect, the 302 redirect is a “temporary move” of content. This redirect lets the search engine know that any URL value should remain with the old page.

In your case there is no use of it if person left the company.

I think you need to give it a little more time. I recently launched a new site and the business info only appeared on the right hand side of the SERP's while searching for "www.domain.com" rather than the business name. A month later a search for the business name is pulling down Google+ info correctly.

You can speed the process up by obtaining high quality backlinks - ideally with Pea Soup Digital as the anchor text and/ or by sharing great content on your site.

I couldn't replicate the privacy policy issue, so it may well have sorted itself out. To be safe you could block it using robots.txt.

I'd echo this comment. Your H1 tag should be unique and identify the most important information. H2 tags should be for subcategories. See example below:

No there is no such restriction in SEO. There is some restriction in paid advertising(Google Ad Words) only, you can't use competitors keyword/brand name in Ad copy but you can add those keywords in Ad Words Ad group.

In short you can target competitors keyword even in Google Ad Words Campaign.

I am quoting Google "Google will not investigate or restrict the use of trademark terms in keywords, even if a trademark complaint is received."

I would like to suggest few ways to find the list of keyword currently used in your website.

1>Check view source of each page and see what keywords used in meta title, H1 tag & content. These are the very important place where people use keywords to optimize.

2>Second check in webmaster tools & analytics if your site is not brand new. In these two you will find by which keywords website getting traffic.

3>Use open site explorer (a moz tool). To use this tool for keyword ideas, enter website URL and go to the Anchor Text Distribution tab.
