You are not meant to put every page into the sitemap. You ar meant to put in the most important pages. If you persiste in putting every page, Bing and proabably google will ignore your sitemap.xml.
They need to be acurate or they will not be believed, the lastmod and changefreq should be as correct as posible.
This info came from Duane Forrester from Bing

I use Microsft IIS Server to host my sites and it comes with a sitemap generator, but its manual, you need to click on the pages you want. for a site as large as yours this is a bit time consuming, but then, I would not put all pages into it.
sitemap generators that auto create the sitemap, do not know what pages are important.
Most sites have landing pages and distibution pages (those that link to sub content) i would include those

You can have multiple site maps, with one master site map that indexes the smaller site maps. That way you can have ten sitemaps if you want to, each covering a portion of your site, with none of them being too huge.
You would want a totally different type of site map for your users, one where you just looked at the top-level concepts of your website and didn't present the user with all 100,000 pages of your site. Notice how Verizon has a comprehensive sitemap for its users, but doesn't list each and every page. http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/sitemap.jsp
