ASP.NET

I'm seeking best practices/articles/etc. on reviewing an ASP.net e-commerce site for SEO and Google Store purposes. Does excellent Ad placement (via Google Shopping and AdWords) have better CTR's than traditional AdWords text Ads (around 20% was the last figure I saw/heard which represents the percentage of people who click on an average AdWords ad). Thanks in advance!

There's nothing asp.net specific when it comes to SEO. SEO best practices applies to any framework.
Ad Placement for instance, is not influenced by server side technology of your website.
And specifically about Google Shopping vs AsWords text ads, I would not judge them by CTR but by CR (Conversion Rate) and CPA; in my experience Google Shopping has a much higher CR, which make sense, because the visitor is closer to make a buy, but in terms of volume AdWords is 10x.

Yeah...as noted the tech is ASP.NET but that has diddly to do with SEO, eh!

Thanks for your good response. It's been a fair amount of time since I've worked on e-commerce sites and the site I referenced for the question is an ASP.net site. They use search-engine unfriendly URL's and I was frankly quite surprised. I found the following article helpful to me and perhaps to others as well:

Thanks again.

You can use url rewriting to fix urls, no need of coding, just web.config http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14274370/url-rewriting-in-asp-net-4-0
