Help I deleted my container in Google Tag Manager!
-
The container is still on the site. Seems like there should be a way to reinstall the container in GTM. Anyone have any ideas?

The container is placed manually on your website. If you want to remove a Google Tag Manager container you need to go into your websites template files and remove it accordingly.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Ray!
I don't want to remove the container that in the site code. I accidentally deleted it from Google Tag Manager, and I want to get it back. For some reason, this client has a very hard time getting the dev team to change anything on the site.
Any ideas how I can get my container back in GTM?
Thanks!
Sam

Hmm, tough spot you're in there. When you create a new container in GTM it assigns a unique container ID for that container - I don't think there is a way to revert back to an already deleted container, unfortunately.
