Hello,

i want to add bangalore which is a district in INDIA to moz so that people searching from that bangalore would find our company listed in google search .Happens to be that i am not able to enter any locations apart from USA. It would be of great help if you could assist us in doing the same. Also wanted to know how how to target preferred locations in India.

      Thank you

        Hi Jabez,

It could have been helpful to provide your website link we get to analyze it critically. There are a few things you should do to "tell" Google your website is actually targeted for Indian consumers.

Firstly, create a Google Webmaster Account and add your domain, find it here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools .After this change your preferred location (Geo targeting of your domain to India), this will help.

Secondly, get your website listed in local Indian Website Directories, preferably even Bangalore ones. Moreover, get back-links from local Indian websites that are in your industry. To further associate your website with Bangalore, India

Do some serious Local SEO and some technical on-page SEO which mentions Bangalore, India here and there to further tell Google, where your website is targeted. Also take a look at the following: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/370575-tools-for-local-seo , www.localseoguide.com and https://moz.com/local

hello Messichessi, thanks for your reply and guide which helped me.

well this is our website link www.levitesystems.com. it would be great if you could go through or just have a glance.

though i followed your steps of registering into webmaster , i still am not able to upload my listings into moz local listings.

other things seems to be fine . it would be great if you could suggest in any tutorials or walk through in how to optimize our site and moz usage.

          Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that Moz Local only supports US locations at this time.
