What's happening with my Moz Points?

Hi all,

I am not getting moz points for answering the queries...earlier, I was getting points if I was answering to someone's query or if someone was giving me thumbs up.

What could be the reason? Please advice.

Hey

I believe there is a soft cap on how many points you can gain for simply answering questions in a given month - 20 I believe. This is to prevent spam and folks just answering questions in an effort to artificially inflate moz points. It is a sensible system in practice.

You can still gain mozpoints as there are awards for good answers, endorsed answers, thumbs up etc but you can't simply just answer and generate a single point.

To be honest, if you want more points most of them will come from thumbs up, good answers, endorsements etc so I would not worry about it too much.
