Hey,
Working on Brand name or Non Money Anchor certainly makes sense. I have analysed you back-links profile and here are some bullets
- Still more than 50% Money Anchors. I can't read Herbew but I try Google Translator :-). This should not exceed 10 to 20% by New Rules. Have a look: http://screencast.com/t/VECTkruhv8nC
- 233k Links from 239 Sites coming from 110 IPs, hosted on 83 Subnets. Is this seems to be natural? Around 1k back-links from 1 site. More than 2 sites from 1IP. Even some IPs have same Subnets. If I can track this, Google is too smart to track this: http://screencast.com/t/4NhrNWGABW5e
- Almost all links are coming from footers. This seems to a bit unnatural portfolio. Add some local high quality directories, make some free blogs with unique content, do some guest posting. Make things diversified in short
- Get more social shares from Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus
- Add lots of need content consistently
Follow the guidelines and may be you will see real improvements!

Did you ever get an action against you ? You can always no follow all the footer links with the exception of the home page thus keep visibility & traffic. Generally you would want domain names more than other anchors, Google's pretty lenient if you are a web designed knowing a lot of people do this but as mentioned no follow would be a good practice on it.
