Got any automatic pop-up ideas?
-
Hi there,
I am thinking of adding auto pop-ups with info or a call to action in them. There are several main facets to the site so there can more more than one pop-up type.
My site is: http://www.ditalia.com.au
What would you recommend?

there is a tool called Paddyack I think I misspelled it but that's how it's pronounced. You can also use

Are you focusing on Australia only?

Yeah. Only Aussie women.

I have a plugin for the site which works. I'm using Joomla 3.0.
What I am after is Marketing Ideas on what to put in the pop-ups. Obviously I can put a subscription form but I don't think our type of customer would be too interested in it--especially the brides to be.
So yeah, looking at what types of communication to use, what should I offer, what should I prompt them to do?

That's pretty tough I don't really favor interruption marketing.
I know if you use a pop-up that you should be certain it is responsive as I've seen people lose all their mobile users almost instantly because the pop-up takes up the entire screen on a cell phone.
I think the hub spot marketing suite is awesome however there are some other tools out there that are less expensive
for instance agile CRM is able to do a lot of automated marketing for a base price of nothing is quite remarkable.
I would use the head look the bar across the top that would get people's attention.
Maybe use a system that allows you to talk to someone on the site and pops up out of the bottom right once somebody has gone X amount of things on the site. live chat

I've read case studies that people don't like them but they get high results none the less.
I think they have their place. But yes, one must take care and it' should definitely be responsive, or set not to show on mobiles.
