Tools and algorithms like Ontolo

Hello,

I really like Ontolo. Are there any tools that do the same thing for less money?

Also, how would I do manually what Ontolo automates?

You can do a similar task manually with search strings and excel to track everything, but the beauty of a web app like Ontolo is that it can track which sites you want to approach and which you reject and therefor won't re-appear in your prospecting queue.

Assuming you are using it for outreach prospecting, I've personally found BuzzStream to be a great replacement for Ontolo, and with significant cost savings (the plan we're using compared to the plan we had with Ontolo.) It's more user friendly and has a better interface in my opinion. Of course you still need to configure it for optimal results. The guys a BuzzStream were very helpful when I started with their product, giving our team a personal live webinar and checking in to see if we needed any assistance in setup.

BuzzStream also has an email client app built in that can streamline the outreach process.
