Moving domain - Google Analytics tracking code

Hello

My company's website is moving domain, all pages are staying the same.

So www.abc.com/winter will become www.xyz.com/winter

Should I:

A) Use the same Google analytics tracking code to the new website?

For example UA-1234567-1

OR

B) Set up new tracking code so it would look something like this: UA-1234567-2

If I did A) then in Analytics reports I'll see both the before and after domain move.

Too keep the most consistency in your traffic data it might be favourable to keep the same code and just update the domain to the new one in the Google Analytic settings. You could still separate the data by using date ranges.
