      I think I have a good question:

Anyone tried to make their business appear on the SERP section of the new google knowledge graph? Or even achieved this?

I read that it was supposed to be limited to people, restaurants or popular public spaces but I saw one company that has achieved it and I would be curious about how to do the same in my industry.

We are probably going to complete our ggogle + profile, create a page on wikipedia and Freebase since it seems to be the main source from what I have searched for but I am curious as how we can achieve that or if anyone was able to and willing to share about it...

      thanks !

        Alexandre-

If your business is a specific "category" or "subject matter" then you can get it registered with a little focus but the same rules of SEO apply......... Let me give you an example that we worked on. There is a new advertising concept called gas station television. Basically it is TV at the gas pumps where companies can advertise while you pump gas. There are number of companies that are doing it like outcast.net...these were large companies that were getting good keyword placement and SERP value. We took a company that had little mozrank called gas station tv and started to create and link them to "subject matter expertise" and "category expertise". In doing so they are starting to show up on googles knowledge graph. www.gstv.com

It sounds like you have a good handle in how to start the process. Without giving away all our secrets, wikipedia and freebase and other information rich sites will help.

This will be impossible for a pizza store or a fitness center because it isnt a "subject" or "category".

Hope this helps. If so please show me the awesome.

        Mark

Thanks for the answer Mark, we will give it a shot with your added suggestion for the category expertise sites to support what we'll be completing.
