The old version of Webmaster tools used to allow you to select whether to remove a single page from index or an entire directory.

How can I do this with the new Webmaster Tools? I can't find the option to remove an entire directory.

Hi, Look in Optimization menu >> Remove urls Create a new removal request, enter URL, click continue.. there will be a question asking whether a single page, directory, etc.. Submit request and you are done.. Hope this helps! Cheers, Gary

        • My beta site (beta.website.com) has been inadvertently indexed. Its cached pages are taking traffic away from our real website (website.com). Should I just "NO INDEX" the entire beta site and if so, what's the best way to do this? Please advise.
