Changing our SEO Strategy, Any feedback?

We are changing our SEO strategy. We rank pretty well for our niche market but we have a lot of room to improve. We used to do a ton of article marketing to many different directories. That was our main form of link building. We want to be as "white hat" as possible with our strategy and with Google's recent update it seems they are discouraging article marketing.

This is what we have come up with:

1. More focus on writing citation worthy content
2. Post content to our blog and social media (Facebook, company and employee twitter accounts)
3. Create weekly educational videos
4. Push videos to social media and blog
5. Create podcasts
6. Push through social media and blog

What do you think? What changes would you make?

These are all good strategies. If you are experts, you can also try guest blogging on trusted sites (you gain link from those sites, from sites that re-publish the article, possible other citations, brand exposure, some followers/fans...). Or you can run a contest.

however, 2011 is going to be a social year for SEO, look for social interactions (like/tweet)

I'm following up on older, unanswered questions. Did you go ahead with that strategy (which I think is a good one btw)? If so, how did it work for you? Can you share any of your experiences here?
