How long does it take for Webmaster Tools to index a site?
When you say 138 links I'm going to assume your site has 138 pages and only 43 pages are being indexed. If not, let me know. Have you submitted an XML sitemap with all 138 pages? If you have and still only 43 are being indexed, I'd take a look at the quality of your pages. If you have several pages that have similar or duplicate content, Google may decide to index only one. Also, make sure all 138 pages are easy to navigate to from either the nav bar or an HTML sitemap (or both). If all else fails, try the Fetch as Google tool within Search Console to submit your non indexed pages and then click submit to index. I usually find this rarely does anything, but it's worth a shot.

Setting timescales in Custom Reports
Some modules are default monthly such as links data since those update when our index updates. Are there any specific modules you are trying to add that does not have the time frame option? Rankings won't appear the same way, you can toggle weekly/monthly above the graph/chart on the right side Crawls are weekly only as there isn't a "monthly" option to show a list of all errors. The only module you should add here will be for the Issues Overview and priority tabs to show the summary. Use CSV reports to export links data as the rows in a PDF report may not generate if there are too many links. CSVs will show the full URLs while the PDFs will not. Links are monthly only since this data is imported directly from our Mozscape Index. Let me know if this helps!

Ecommerce & Outreach
Hi Becky, There have been some good replies so far but to address your question here, I think it's definitely worth doing the outreach and trying to build relationships. Unless you're a massive brand, it's hard to get noticed online without some form of outreach, at least to begin with. In terms of time, it really does depend on your other priorities. If I had to put a time on it and given that you haven't really started yet, I'd block out maybe half a day to do some research and contact a few sites and then gauge feedback. Then build up from there. Bear in mind that some companies will hire SEO and PR agencies to just focus on promotion of their website, so it can take up a lot of time. But if you start on it yourself with a few hours, then you get a good understanding quickly of what's involved. A quick heads up - it's not easy! But it's important so it's worth pursuing. I hope that helps! Paddy

International Targeting - Google Search Console not recognizing the tags
Hi Aleyda. I just stumbled on this thread because I'm having the exact same problem as Kilgray Marketing was – Google Search Console isn't recognizing the hreflang tags on my client's site: cbisonline.com/eu https://cbisonline.com/eu I realize this thread is closed since you've already answered the original question, but I was hoping you might be able to provide some insight on my situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...

Mentions if domain slightly different to brand name
Thanks guys. That makes sense. I guess a good test is to also check and see if you dominate not only for the branded keyword but also all the common misspellings, etc. That might be harder for some brands such as bitskin and bitskins or intenso and intenseo. But i guess if you have a unique enough name and you rank for those too, then you know search engines really do understand.

How many directories are too many directories?
Thanks Kevin & Don! Your insights are very helpful. I was asking myself how much traffic would some of these "off the beaten path" directories generate, even if they had a high page rank, and if the effort was worth the reward. I think I will just list them on DMOZ and any niche specific directory my clients recommend. Thanks Again! B/R Will H.

Block parent folder in robot.txt, but not children
The idea from Andrew is nice, but my guess would be that you're targeting multiple events so that might run into issues. What you could do is add some more regular expression and make it like this: Disallow: ^/news/events-calendar/usa$

Remove moz team conversation bubble
Thanks for the response, David. It would be nice if it could be disabled somewhere in our settings or moved elsewhere on the page. I actually have a lot of things going on in the lower-right portion of my screen, so that is a very annoying place to have something.

New Domain Link Building Order - When to 301 Redirect?
Hey There! I recommend that you get the landing pages straightened out before building citations. You don't want redirecting URLs on them and you don't want to have to do the work twice. Hope this helps

Reputable SEO companies
I should also add that when you look at a company that provides link building services you should have them evaluate your site for content. What I would do is show them a couple so so pages, and a couple real good ones. Allow them to pick which ones they are willing to promote, if they choose the good ones you know you have the right people... my thoughts, Don

Duplicate URL's in Sitemap? Is that a problem?
Hi Luciana! If Logan and/or Matthew answered your question, mind marking one or both of their responses as a "Good Answer" (down in the lower-right of the responses)? It helps us keep track of things, and it gives them a few extra MozPoints.
