        Hello Aaron.

Your concerns are valid. There are multiple issues on your client's site.

        1. Your entire site is duplicated. You offered the URL as http://travelingbaby.com/ but "http://www.travelingbaby.com/ is also a valid URL which means your entire site exists on the root domain and the "www" subdomain. Your links are split as both versions of your site has backlinks.

You need to pick one version of your site, the www or non-www version, and stick with it.

        2. You currently have 2 H1 tags on your main page, "Featured • Customer Comments". The H1 tag is your page's headline. Think of it like the newspaper headline "WORLD ENDS TODAY".

        3. Your page title is not focused. The title tag is designed to let search engines know what your page is about. Ideally you focus a single keyword. You can add a second keyword and still be ok but your title is presently "Traveling Baby - baby equipment rental, baby gear rental, crib rental, stroller rental and more". Each additional keyword or phrase dilutes your efforts.

The exact keyword you choose for any given page would be determined by keyword research of traffic, your competition, your content, etc. I can't quickly identify what keyword would be best but an example of a good title would be "Baby Equipment Rental | Traveling Baby".

Overall, the site needs quite a bit of SEO attention.

I had a quick look some things which pop up:

          • The competitors have more links then you.

          • The competitors have a lot more internal linking going on, even though  the website is poor.

          • Your website seems to have some duplicate content issues, I have pulled a few pages on copy scape API and saw some issues.

          Things I would work on:

          • Make a company blog to add great content.

          • Use more internal linking

          • Use social more effectively.

          • Do more relevant link building.

          • Fix all the on site basis, many issues with your website.

          Hope this helps.

                Hi

Yes, glaring mistakes, which some are pointed out by James and Ryan

                1. Home page title - pick one (two tops) keywords only.  Use them at the beginning of the title tag.  They should be an exact match to the phrase you want to rank for.  Like "Baby Furniture Rental | Traveling Baby"

                2. www vs non-www - redirect to one or the other.

                3. http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/on-page-keyword-optimization <--- running this tool against the site for "crib rental" grades it a C for on page optimization. I'd take a look at the suggestions.

                4. Title tags on all the other pages are not optimized.

These are just some of the major things.  It appears there could be a lot more on-site improvement.  But be sure to keep on-site optimization user-friendly, not just seo-friendly.

                -Dan
