Best Landing Page Optimization Software?

Hi all,

I'm looking to deploy a landing page optimization solution for a new product release. I'm looking for the following:

• WYSIWYG content management / easy page creation
• A/B Testing Capability
• Lead capture system--something that integrates with Salesforce

We will be deploying HubSpot for the flagship product. I just need something that is cheaper ($500 or less per month) for this other product release. It should focus more on landing pages and less on lead nurturing/scoring.

Any experience out there with a reliable solution?

My advice, dont use a cms, write html by hand, mark each product up as a product using microdata so that Search engines see your products as just that, a product and not just a load of text. You can write heaps about a product but to teh search engine they dont understand that it is a product you are writing about. Major SE's have agreed on a schema just for this reason. it can link up your Product title to its image to its description, to its manufacturer and more.

CMS's never giive clean html. for $500 you can get a a fair bit done by hand if you dont have the dev skills yourself.

I'm able to hand code clean HTML, CSS and PHP. I've built a lot of landing pages myself, but I need members in my marketing team without those skills to own this part of the process.

I suppose we could develop a few templates for landing pages and let the team use a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver to change the copy.

Just what i was thinking, my advice, have alook at schema.org and look up the product schema, then make a template they can fill in. I just dont like things like dreamweaver as they make a mess of the code from what i have seen. i program in microsoft Technolgies and use telerik controls for such things as WYSIWYG editor, it leaves very clean code. the only thing is if you keep re-editing the code gets messy, i thing the idea is to get it right the first time.

I disagree with writing HTML by hand. That doesn't sound like a good use of time. There are several good options that take the time/pain away of creating and managing LPs. Premise for Wordpress, Optimizely, Unbounce and Visual Website Optimizer to name a few. Which one you'll prefer the most just depends on your needs

whwn i say by hand, I use visual studio, i just would not ues anything that spits out html, because they do not create clean code free from violations .

although word press is popular it is not good for SEO, but if you can not write your own html, then wordpress or the like it has to be. You certaibnly are not going to be able to mark up microdata with the such
