Best online live chat systen

I'd like to add live chat to one of my sites. The last time I did this, I used the largest provider and was disappointed at the way the addon tended to drag page loads, but this was also three years ago.

Any experience or feedback about the live chat systems out there?

We've chosen Live Chat because they seem to be a good blend of features and price and it works very well. I have also used whoson way back but don't know how they stack up today.

Hi We have used a few different systems over the last year finally settling on snap engage. This system is particularly useful for proactive chat where a small pop up appears after a specified time on specified pages. We have found that this is improving conversions. It uses skype or google talk and has quod functionality whilst remaining simple to use and install.
