Search volumes broken down by region
-
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a keyword research tool available that breaks down search volumes by region. For example, how many searches there are in London/South East for the keyword "cars".
All the tools I have seen only go down to country level. Are there any that go down to region/city level?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure of any but would really like to find one, however by adding a geographic modifier you can get a good idea. Unless you are really swinging for the fences for a generic international KW, this is probably how people are searching anyway.

Getting the location of a searcher from their IP would not really be accurate enough for this. The place Google 'thinks' I am when searching is usually some distance away from my actual location, and unless I bother to go in and change it manually or I'm searching from my phone with the benefits of GPS, it's incorrect. Google Insights for Search (http://www.google.com/insights/search) at least lets you specify 'England' as a sub-region of the UK, however.
