Google Places won't update my listing!

So I have a listing on Google Places....I can add new video and photos, it will update not a problem...however when I change the address since this business has moved IT WILL NOT UPDATE!

Is this because the wrong address is being pulled from somewhere else like citysearch? You would think if you changed it in Places it would overwrite an outside source...

If I correct the address in citysearch would I be able to then change it in places and it finally update? Or am I just going to have to make a whole new places listing...? Whats the deal here??

how long has it been? This data might be tied into maps as you indicated, so I would not jump just yet. If over a week, then contact Google.

How far away is the new address?  Have you also moved the marker (the red thing on the map) to the new address as well?

The only address I have moved, was a mile away, so didn't have a problem.  However, if it is far enough away, I wonder if you will need to re-validate the listing with either the postcard or phone number.

Is this the only listing you have added to your google places account for this business?

it is literately right around the corner from the old address...

We are a franchise with over 80 locations, but I haven't had this issue with any others..I know this particular places page is pulling info from city search, so im thinking that maybe the reason it won't update....but like I said, you would think changing it in places would overwrite that...

It's a pain but it's easier to just create a new listing and then delete the old.
