Good link building companies

I'm wondering if anyone has had good experiences with any of the link building companies out there. I'm really looking to hear about those companies who go beyond the mundane forum links, blog commenting, bulk directory submission, article directories etc. It's all been done to death.

I've used webuildpages.com, they are pricey, but are good at getting high quailty links.

If webuildpages.com is good, why not stick with them?  Honestly, I doubt you'll find high quality links (non directories, bookmarks, etc.) that isn't pricey.

We have found doing it in house is more cost effective, and can be very productive.

I'm going to mirror Mike as I've always had the best results with a hybrid in-house / out of house team.  The great thing about training some ninjas in-house is the fact that their knowledge of your company and products is so intimate that they will be able to become experts/thought leaders in your niche and come up with the most creative link/brand development campaigns.
