I don't see a lot of talk on here about using testimonials to build good content.  From what I have seen, the search engines love client testimonials.

I haven't found a good service provider for this yet.  I'm thinking something combined with Twitter or FB that also allows you to show the content on your site would be great.  Can anyone recommend a service like this? I'm checking out a service called, "Quick Vouch" but I haven't tested it yet.

I don't really see how you can utilize testimonials to consistently build good content? Testimonials are often short, will only be available on an irregular basis, and will rarely (if ever) get linked to by outside parties. Could you eloborate on your idea a little further?

Theo, do a search on a company name who offers testimonials.  In most cases you will find their testimonials rank in the top 3 or 4 results.  This tells me that the search engines think it's important to let others know about the experience on the site, product, service, etc.  I do agree with you on one point, and that is that it's not easy to keep that flow of testimonials coming in.  This is the reason I started this conversation.

Testimonials are also a great way to get some content in the first-person voice where it's unnatural to do so otherwise. You can have a testimonial that says "Company xyz helped me fix my computer" and it's a way to get the phrase 'fix my computer' in and sound natural.
