What's your experience with building a discussion forum from scratch?

What we want to do is provide a discussion platform for our users (and other people) where they can pose and answer questions about marketing, social media, and other topics.

Anything along the lines of the Moz Q&A Forum.

Anyone have any experience with creating such a group and would be willing to share their knowledge?

Hi Moz community,

I have  blog websites on Lumen links , lyricsinfo , photobooths , and fishing kayak and I want to know the best strategy to increase the DA and PA of the website.  I am already getting links from other websites but DA isn't increasing.

Please guide.
