410 redirects

Hi, i am getting critical 4xx errors from moz crawler from pages that have a 410 redirect. is there any way i can fix them? i though they were already fixed with the 410 redirections!! many thanks in advance. Jorge

Is their also the possibility that you could 301 to a relevant page for a better user experience?

Well... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 410 is not one of the redirect codes They all begin with "3", e.g: 301, 302 or even 307. 410 is the status code you employ to let browsers and search engines know that a page is gone forever and is not coming back. 410 means 'gone' and without any redirects, basically erases the SEO authority of those addresses (unless remedies **VERY **gosh darned fast)
