I'm thinking about uploading photos to my Google+ and then embedding them in my post. Will adding photo from Google+ help me rank better.

I have seen zero results from Google+ - I don't even see people's own Google+ profiles ranking (when Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. easily rank).

Nope.

Using Google+ as intended may deliver positive results for your site, though.
