Moz Local for Physicians
-
I have a Moz Local campaign set up for a physicians clinic. MOZ has informed me that several duplicate listings for the office have been found. Some are listed using an old business name, some are listed using an old business name w/ physicians no longer practicing at the clinic. Most all have inconsistent data. The question is: Do I "ignore" or "close" these duplicate listings? Also, should I wait to clean up inconsistent data until MOZ has successfully "submitted and updated" the listings in the directories they submit to? When I search my local listing with Moz, why does it state that MOZ is unable to contact YP, Hotfrog, and Best of the Web?
I will appreciate any guidance here:-)

Hello!
If the businesses are duplicates where you have an original listing created on the same service, definitely submit a request to close them. If they are not your business at all, ignore.
If you have already purchased a listing, you do not need to search using our tool for your business as we will filter your paid listing out of the results. So only search if you are intending to purchase a new listing for a different location.
Inability to contact any engine means the APIs we connect to are not available. Each time you load this report, it is a live search query and we recommend only refreshing once or twice a week.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your response.
So, to be clear. You are suggesting that I close the listings which reference the the old clinic name, even if it has the same address. Also, you recommend that I should close the listings that may have the new clinic name, but reference doctors no longer with the organization?
I'm not sure when it is appropriate to simply "ignore" a duplicate listing.
