Why does our business directions page rank above business profile page

Hi All,

We are having an issue at the moment where our business direction page is ranking above the main business profile page. Our website is zodio.com, similar to Yelp but for South East Asia. An example of each page is below:

On many of our long tail searches for particular businesses, the business directions rank above the business details. Does anyone have any idea of why this would happen? I have researched Yelp and they do not have this issue. A few search examples in Google are as follows (one is in Thai):

• agonos dental clinic
• เวิลด์ชาร์มมิ่ง
• kawanku elektrik

I have been rattling my brain and search for answers but cannot find anything. The communities help would be much appreciated.

Hi Neil,

Had a similar question asked yesterday and the fix for that one was to noindex / follow the pages in question.

Would I be right in thinking that the directions page doesn't matter if it isn't indexed? You want to make sure it is followed though.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your response. I was also thinking the same but the business directions page it currently driving a a lot of traffic to the site. I am worried that if I noindex or nofollow this page that i may lose a ton of traffic. I was looking at Yelps infrastructure as well to see if they use either of these but there I cannot see that they have it unless of course they are blocking it using the robots.txt.

Would you say that these options are the only options?
