Google+ Local ranking for company with no website

Hi,
Im about to start helping a small business who has a facebook account but no website. Has anyone got any experience of getting a business ranking locally without a website? Just wandering if NAP details from a facebook / Google+ account helps with local citation building? Or whether a basic website is required?

Hi Antony,

I have Seen Profiles rankings on Google Locals but in very small locations. And I have also seen Google local listing Ranking with Free domains like wordpress etc. That provide you a free sub-domains.

I will recommend you to have a Website because Competition is getting higher and higher So if you have a Website then You can manage onpage optimization stuff very well.

And In-case you donot want to have a website then You should Go with option 2 above. Having sub-domain on any free hosting website.
