This has been a source of frustration for me for a long time. I have asked many times and never found anything in the support documentation on how to add this. Is it something that is simply not offered? If so is it not outrageous to others that this simple feature is not present?

What I want: I would like to be able to include Universal Results icons in my rank reports. Why? Well as is the case much of the time my clients Google profile is included in the maps results (thanks to our optimization services) but they are not on the first page. The client can't see the results of this type of SEO. It shows up when logged in but not in the exported reports. How easy would it be to include these? It seems like a no-brainer.

If anyone knows where to add them or why they don't automatically include them please let me know. If this feature is not offered I call upon my fellow SEO's to demand this feature. If anyone knows of a way to contact the developers to recommend adding this feature I would also appreciate that information. Thank you

      Universal Result: Local
      You're in it!
      Position: before 1st natural result
      Contains: 7 results

        Hey there,

Thanks for the post. We do actually show if you're in the Universal Results in the reports. When you export your CSV you can see a column labeled something like this:

        Google US en Verticals

Or whatever your specific search engine would be. That column would say something like "image" or "video" or some combination of other verticals. In the next column is the Verticals Position. Then next to that is a True/False field that will report False if you're not in that vertical and True if you are.

I hope that helps you convey your efforts to you clients a little more easily. The universal results are always tricky because they don't have an actual organic numerical placement. 😞

        Cheers,
        Joel

That sort of helps,However most of our clients prefer the PDF version of the reports. We could send both, but it would require a training course to teach them how to understand the information in the CSV. Is it not possible to add this feature to the PDF version of the reports? When the PDF is generated, just check for the icons, if the icon is present, include it in a table. With very little programming experience I am sure adding this feature would be quite simple. I can't imagine that I'm the first person to ask for this feature. It seems like a low effort modification to the site that would help immensely.

Here is an imaginary situation to put it in perspective for you.

Client A isn't happy because the reports he/she is receiving don't show all the maps results they appear in. We tell them that they are ranking well in maps thanks to the work we have done, but Client A can only search manually to find them or sort through a convoluted CSV to determine where he/she is or isn't. Client A cancels because we are unable to provide adequate reporting at a reasonable cost. We are forced to develop our own program to parse CSV's into a visual report at a great cost to ourselves and our clients. This development is not shared with the rest of the Moz community who are left to deal with the same issue on their own.
