Should i stop non targeted countries from viewing my site to stop pogo sticking?
-
i recently Learned that if someone clicks on your site and goes back within a few seconds or maybe a minute and then goes to the next search result that tells Google that previous website was not so good
In order to prevent that is it OK to block non-targeted countries from looking at my site that could stop user engagement a little bit I mean is it worth it what do you think?

It's annoying, and it bypasses any of the genuine behaviour of visitors. I really dislike it when i'm stuck at a website, i have to close the tab and spawn a new one.

Thanks but my question is , is this act gonna benefit me?

So you condole keeping visitors stuck onto your website just for the benefit of a potential higher google position?

i mean if my target audience is only canada and i dont want other visitors from other countries to visit me because they wont be turned into sales which i know for sure.
because if they come to my site and go back to serps and click on any other result without changing the query, it will damage my rankings
just to stop this , should i block certain countries?
does this trick work?

There's a setting for google in that. You can target it's country for example. Login into google.com/webmasters/ , make sure the site is added & verified in there, then head to Legacy Tools and Reports > International targetting > Hit tab Country and select the country from there. It might take some time (days, weeks) to be in full effect, you might lose some clicks but you'll get the targetted audience your looking for.
