If it was previously only taking 5 minutes then you were likely notifying them in some way.  There are not many sites that Google crawl every 5 minutes.  Check whether you were previously pinging them and it stopped, or whether you were maybe pinging other services that may have been notifying them.

If you look in webmaster tools you can also see wehther theyt are crawling your site less frequently.
