Is there a limit on back linking per week
-
I know the ratio matters of follow/no follow when it comes to backlinks/inbound but also if there is a high volume of them per week, it can be flagged as spammy. Is there a limit on how many backlinks can be done in a week for a domain? I am talking backlinks from high domain authority low spam links. Media/blog sites.

Their sort of is, let me give you an example of how this would work. If you normally would get 1-2 links per week and all of a sudden you jump up to 10+ links a week then you're off from your usual pattern and likely some signals are going to be noticing that. It is going to depend on how naturally you've been able to acquire these links, if that would look unnatural then I can imagine that a search engine would take precautions and likely look at the links different. If you've always been consistent on this topic then you likely have to worry less. In the end, it's usually all about having a natural look.

I agree with Martijn.
The idea behind what he's explaining is the pace and how acceleration on getting backlinks.
Remember that Google has the most advanced algorithm detecting backlink schemes and tactics, they'd eventually get that your site is creating links against their guidelines.Hope it helps.
Best luck.
