Dates on Google Search Results
-
Hello,
I manage htts://globalrose.com
When I search on Google for "Yellow Roses", "Yellow Roses Globalrose", or any search that might bring up one of our pages, sometimes our search results appear with dates right before the description. Does anyone know what this mean? Why they appear on some and not other pages?
Here is a search result for example: Example Google Search
Can someone please help clarify this for us?

My guess, is that Google is picking up this line in your code: class='testimonial-date'>Written on May 19, 2018
Which looks to be when people are leaving reviews for you?

This is the publish date of the article. You can change this in your post settings usually. In WordPress it's the top right corner in the post dashboard.

Hello Thomas,
Thanks for your response. Yes, this seems to be the case. Do you think this helps or hurts our SEO ranking for these pages that have testimonial dates being displayed on Google search results?

Just realised, it's most likely a post not a page e.g:
https://www.padstowsealifesafaris.co.uk/endangered-sea-life-uk/ (blog post with date stamp)
https://www.padstowsealifesafaris.co.uk/boat-trips/ (page with no date stamp.)
