Where can i find the api details for the social details that are used in OSE?

I have asked SEOmoz where i can do it but the response was it was from the API's from each search engines but unfortunatly within each social network i can't find where the details or the way to find out how many times a url has been shared like how they do it in opensiteexplorer. Has anyone else done this and be able to shed some like?
