      Hello,

I am on the 99 USD Plan. Is it updated the same as with the 149 plan ?

My second question is how can you increase you PA ? because i am wondering if with a PA on some of my subpage of 1 I can compete with content to reach the 1 st page with websites that have PA or 30 for example

      Thank you,

        Hi there,

Yeap, the frequency between updates is the same, regardless the plan your paying.
You can check the history in updates and the next update date: Mozscape API updates

Fist thing to say here is that you should not rely on PA, DA or any other tool's metric. They do not tell google where it should rank, it even the opposite: Every tool tries it's best to understand and put in metrics what they think google will took into consideration to rank.
Moz, in this case analyze specially the backlink profile and the metrics are (re)calculated every time the API is updated. This goes to respond the fact that you the new pages have PA=1, what is correct because they are not in Moz's index. It's been suggested to wait at least two updates for having those new pages included in the index.

On the topic about ranking to the 1st page and competing with pages that have about PA30, you should not worry about increasing metrics, rather than creating unique content and having every onpage aspect of your pages correctly done and of course that should come along with aswering that specific query/user intent.

        Hope it helps.
        Best luck.
        GR.

Thank for your very detailed reply, this is very helpful.

One more thing : Can a good UX design improve the PA or is it just a matter of links ?

            Hi!
I don't think that a Good UX will improve PA nor DA.
Take a look at the Moz Glossary and you will find this definition:

_Page Authority (PA) - indicates how likely a page is to rank based on how authoritative search engines consider it to be because of which sites link to it. _

            Hope it helps.
            Best luck.
            GR.

Ok good to know. So PA and DA and both based on backlinks (internal and external).
