I've read somewhere that "Request a Quote" can sometimes put people off a little bit and that Ill be better having "Get Price".  Were an installation service company.  I cna have a PRicing page were the customer can fill some information and be provided with a price on the website.  Would this be a better option than having a request a quote page?

Has anyone had any positive or negative experience with this strategy?

IT will really depend on your area and the language your customers use.  I have seen the same CTA wording, in the same region perform both amazing and far below expectation, and it had to do with what the end product was and the language that people in the area used when looking for those services.  Your best bet it to run an A/B test yourself and see which CTA responds better to your potential customers.

As Michael stated, best way forward may be to A/B test it using different methods.

Form + button, button only, conditional form etc.

One constant consideration is to ensure your content is consistent to where your visitor is with regards to the purchasing path and also the page target/goal.

          Good luck,

          Regards,
          Daren

Thanks, appreciate the advice.  Im using Wordpress for the new site Im creating so Im sure theres a great tool for A/B testing.  Ill give the two options a try.  The other thing is can I have the cta too many times ont he page.  Ive got the CTA on a green button for contrast and its in the header on the right.  Ive also added it 4 times in the content after each section where I explain each benefit.  Ive also then got it at the bottom of the page too.  Not sure whether it will look a bit too spammy or the more the better?
