Can I automate Wordpress.com blog distribution to Medium and social?

I have a blog on Wordpress.com.  The developer won't move it to .org, but I want to automatically distribute posts to Medium, LinkedIn Groups and the rest of social.

Can wordpress.com posts be automatically distributed to social networks beyond a personal account (LinkedIn Groups rather than feed, Facebook biz page, etc)?

Can it be automatically posted to Medium?

I know it is easily done with .org

Hi there

From a social standpoint, what you can do schedule your posts with BufferApp, but it's much easier with the plugin. And with Medium, there's a plugin as well.

It may be something to look into moving your site to Wordpress.org if you are hosting a lot of content and want more customizable functionality with your website. It would also alleviate a lot of the manual labor you might incur with posting to Medium and scheduling your posts, as these plugins automatically would handle that for you.

Maybe not the answer you were looking for, but, essentially until you move to Wordpress.org, you'll have to schedule your social posts and manually add your content to Medium, at least from what I can tell.

Also it's worth saying that it's pretty easy to move a blog from WordPress.com to .org it you wanted to do it without a developer - having done it quite a bit, I think my record is about 30 minutes to have the new blog up and running (the only complication is if you have particular design functionality, but if you're on wordpress.com, that's unlikely)....

Plus it'd speed up the loading time for your blog which is taking a while to load right now...

Thanks Dan.  I've been saying from the start the we should be on .org rather than .com...
