New Google Update?
-
Hey guys,
So I have noticed a few of my clients rankings drop suddenly as of last week. They went from page 1 to page 4 and I they have been on page 1 for years, it happened around 17/01/2013. Anyone heard anything about a new update?
Sample URL & Keyword:

Hi I experienced the exact same thing on my rankings! I think its some kind of a Google Dance, and really hope to gain back my rank.

Dont think its google dance as its going down not coming up and it started on the 17th jan.
Want to know if its penguin or panda so i can then work a plan accordingly.

I had 2 of 10 sites have their main keywords drop between 3 and 9 pages. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to why those 2 sites. So far all serps seem frozen as the front page hasn't changed since 17th and to qualify I am referring to google.co.uk
Search on the web (using google
) you'll see quite a lot of people affected especially google.co.uk .de and india. Google as normal denied any update but it happened (16th/17th) -
Yes there has been an update though no official confirmation from Google so far ...

Guys,
You can refer to this discussion:-

It looks as though there has been an update of some kind. Take a look at the 'payday loans' sector for example, there seems to be a lot of new, spammy domains which have found their way onto the first page. With the likes of Wonga dropping down several pages, in some instances. Really strange.

It will help if I know what is it about?
Is there no way to find out if its something to do with the link profile or onpage issues ?
another this type in web browsers and google itself is on 3rd page.
