Previously blacklisted website still not appearing on Google searches.
-
We have a client who before us, had a website that was blacklisted by Google. After we created their new website, we submitted an appeal through Google's Webmaster Tools, and it was approved. One year later, they are still unable to rank for anything on Google.
The keyword we are attempting to rank for on their home page is "Day in the Life Legal Videos" which shouldn't be too difficult to rank for after a year. But their website cannot be found.
What else can we do to repair this previously blacklisted website after we're already been approved by Google?
Here is the website in question: https://www.verdictvideos.com/

Google might have lifted a manual penalty but algorithmic penalties are still holding the site back.
It is possible that Panda (low quality content) or Penguin (link spam) penalties are causing the current problem. Numerous DMCA complaints or other infractions could have gotten the site banned.
A link audit or content audit might reveal the cause.

Thanks for the response! I dont think thin content is an issue. These guys wrote a lot of good stuff for their website. I did check OSE and I see one site with a spam score of 7 that im sure isnt doing any good.
