      Hello,

Whatever reviews I receive from customer on my Product page same reviews I show on relevant Category and Subcategory Pages. Now due to this I feel somewhat my page google consider as duplicate. Not sure.

So I am planning to use either ajax or iframe on my categories pages so that google can't read my reviews of category pages.

Is it a good practice to use ajax or iframe or anything else you can suggest?

      Thanks!

I would certainly be looking to use Ajax - iFrame wouldn't be a good move in this case.

However, I personally wouldn't think it were necessary to do this as I would add an overall review score on the page and then link "read reviews" to a modal window or such that just carries the review once, but linked to from many different pages.

It does away with the issues you might face with Ajax and means your pages are much tidier without lots of extra content that does nothing for the page.

As far as my info goes, Google can read ajax as well as iframes maybe not as good as normal content so saying that you are going to add content in iframe so that Google can’t read that, I believe Google will still be able to read the content within the iframe to an extent.

Google consider two pages as duplicate when content on the two pages are completely identical or good amount of content on both pages are exactly similar if this is the case, adding more unique content to product pages can help if only the customer reviews are identical, I personally don’t think its an issue.

          Just my 2 cents.

            Hi All,

So what shall I do to save my category pages from duplicate review? As Ajax and Iframe both google read.

            Thanks!
