        Hey Kashif

That is kind of peculiar but it does not seem to be causing you any problems as such. I also just tried this on another standard wordpress site and

To make sure this is not an issue going forward you could

        1. Find out what is going on with your permalinks to allow this to hapen & fix it

        2. Make sure you have a canonical tag so if any do get picked up then you will ensure they don't get indexed

Beyond that, I googled a few chunks of text of the pages and you are currently running the site on https and http and both versions are being indexed so I would remove the https from the standard pages as it really serves no purpose there.

So, in short, don't worry about this too much but add a canonical with a simple plugin.

        I would

        1. Add the Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugin
        2. Add the Redirection Plugin

This may solve the issue for you or you may have to do some more digging in the back end but the cannonical from the yoast plugin will ensure there are no problems going forward.

        Hope that helps!
        Marcus

This is not a problem, Marcus is correct. This canonical tag being added to each page takes care of anything extra that may be applied to the end of the URL.

          • After you remove a 301 redirect that Google has processed, will the new URL retain any of the link equity from the old URL?
