Will MOZ Local Claim the Foursquare listing for me?

Hello all!

Well, basically that's the question in the subject!

Will MOZ Local Claim the Foursquare listing for me? Do I need to first claim the listing in Foursquare and then and only then connect to MOZ Local? Because it seems to me that, if so, this is not happening currently.

Hi there!

Foursquare authentication effectively allows Moz Local to update Foursquare listings on your behalf, as they require a Foursquare account to exist and be connected in Moz Local. To get this process rolling, you'll simply need to:

1. Head on over to the 'Foursquare' tab on the lefthand side of your Dashboard.
2. Connect an existing Foursquare account by clicking the '+ Foursquare Account' button at the top. (You can create one here if you don't have one already: https://foursquare.com/signup/)
3. Click the 'Claim' button to the right of your listings in the 'Foursquare' tab.

Hmmm...I am on https://moz.com/local/bulk/managed/oauth/foursquare (the foursquare tab in moz local). But I don't see a + Foursquare Account. I added a new listing to my moz local account and need to add its Foursquare listing. Thanks!

Thanks, Kevin. I think I figured it out. This is a brand new business so there are not listings anywhere, including Foursquare. So I created the Foursquare yesterday and I assume it will be found and then I will have to claim it. I am still learning what bits moz creates and what bits it just keeps track of. Thanks for your response.
