Why don't Google+ URL's work in OSE?

Is there any reason why Google+ URLs does not work in OSE?  Is it just that it is a secure URL or is there something bigger there?

Why?  Be cool to determine every website the person has been published on; especially if it is rel="author" verified.  Jeff

Hello Jeff,

Thank you for writing in!  Hope you enjoyed your Christmas break to the max!  That is definitely a good question, the current method which OSE indexes sites are based on the accessibility of the site, unfortunately social media sites our Roger just have a hard time digesting and feeling out.  Which lead to us setting up social tracking for FB and twitter in our campaign metrics and followerwonk.

We are hoping in the future as we give Roger some upgrades (rocket launcher included), he may be able to crawl more sites!  or perhaps through some form of Google+ integration in our web tool.
