      Happy Monday Moz World!

I am just wondering what are some best practices when using Schema.org Tags. For Example, I have a client who provides multiple services and provides unique content on each webpage. The design of each of the webpagesare unique, and conveys information differently.

My question is: If each page of a company's website has unique content that describes a service or product, could I essentially change the url & description of the Schema Tag so that each of my pages are indexable by relationship to that page's content?

Thanks ahead of time for the great responses!

      B/R

        Hi there.

If understand correctly - sure you can. The question is how much resources you got to spend on this task. For example, you can use product name, and based on it spit out proper url. It would require either creating some type of specific structure for product name or creating some type of specific database with all that information.

Instead of product name you can use whatever unique piece of data on those pages.

        Hope this makes sense.

          Hello Dmitrli,

This does make sense. Just wasn't sure if you could "over optimize" for the Schema. Thank You for your response.

          • We are switching our CMS local pages from a subdomain approach to a subfolder approach. What's the best way to handle this? Should we redirect every local subdomain page to its new subfolder page?
