Why does our Facebook not show up when searching for our business name?
-
Our Facebook is titled NJ & PA Personal Injury Attorney Richard P. Console Jr., and the url is Facebook.com/myinjuryattorney, and our website is www.consoleandhollawell.com. Because of the different names, we put social schema on our site which we thought would help Google associate the two. It doesn't seem to be working as we are not showing up in the serp's when searching for "Console & Hollawell Facebook" and even "Richard Console Facebook" Could anyone give any insight as to why? Thank you!

Interestingly, even when I searched for exactly your Facebook page's name, Google wasn't finding it. Google does, however, find this page just fine. It looks like it hasn't been claimed yet. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Console-Hollawell-PC/323923971129837
I'm not sure what's going on with your existing FB page, but that is clearly where Google wants to make the association and the opportunity appears to be there.

Taking what Rebecca's said, there are two things I'd suggest you do:
- Sort out the fact that there seem to be multiple pages for your business.
- Get your branding on key. "NJ & PA Personal Injury Attorney Richard P. Console Jr." is entirely different from "Console & Hollawell Facebook", which is entirely different from "myinjuryattorney". Your branding is all over the place and not at all unified. Yes, "myinjuryattorney" is a nice url-bit, but it has nothing to do with the name or branding. Even with schema, that's going to be hard to mitigate.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for your answer. We have seen that page you pointed out, but Facebook won't actually let us claim it. It's very frustrating because whenever we try, our actual business page doesn't populate. Have you seen that happen before or have any suggestions on how to get it to populate?

Honestly, Facebook page management is a bit outside of my expertise. You may have seen this Facebook help page before, but it's where I would start. Sending you there feels a bit like tech support asking you if you rebooted your computer, though. Hopefully someone with more experience troubleshooting Facebook pages will chime in.
