HTTPS Crawl Issues
-
We developed a new site (https://www.cincinnatiwebtec.com/) and added an SSL to it and 301 redirected HTTP to HTTPS. Moz and the crawl tool have been producing results of "902 : Network errors prevented crawler from contacting server for page."
Google Webmaster Tools is crawling and seems to be reading the HTTPS site just fine. The sitemap.xml, robots.txt, and everything on Google's end looks great. Do we need to create a new Moz Analytics campaign? Or will Moz eventually get through using the existing campaign? Or is there some underlying issue with redirects perhaps? Google has already re-indexed the HTTPS into it's results so I have a feeling nothing is wrong with the site and it's just on Moz's end. But I wanted to ask to be sure.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris!
It's a little tough for me to say what is causing the 902 error to be returned. When running a cURL from our crawler as of now, it looks like the site is returning a 200. So, I would guess that perhaps it was simply some sort of intermittent server issue at the particular time of the crawl. I would also recommend making sure that you're not utilizing SNI.I would consider running a Crawl Test to see how the site is currently responding :). If you're continuing to run into issues, then it may be easier to give us a shout at help@moz.com. Thanks!

Thanks Jordan, I am actually using SNI. Is that an issue?

To answer my own question, from some Google searches and research, SNI is not supported by Moz currently. They are working to add it, but it's not currently supported. Hopefully that helps some other people.
Thanks,
Chris
