Content with Read More..?
-
How does google see content that's static on page & content that has a "see more" or "read more" tag. Where the content collapses & de-collapses on a mouse click. On a condition that the complete is readable via the source code view as well as crawl-able by spiders?

Hey Jawahar,
There is nothing wrong with the "See More" or "Read More" tag, if you're implementing it for following purposes,
- to avoid duplicate content between pages
- Readers to view more post titles on the home/category page.
- to improve the navigation and UX of your site
Make sure to minimise the use of any script while adding this tag and go ahead!

John Mueller said awhile back that if you're hiding content behind a "Read More" then Google may downgrade the importance of that content. Because if it really was essential text, then you wouldn't be hiding it in a collapsible div, right? Basically, don't abuse it and you should be okay, but it's not a 100% safe thing and the content in those divs may not be indexed.
