On Page Optimization Management Issue

Hey everybody,

I am unable to delete/manage the keywords in my on page optimization. I can select them, and I hit delete, and nothing happens. I've tried a few different browsers and everything, any thoughts?

Where do you mean, in one of your campaigns on the on-page optimization page? Moz will grade any page that has a keyword ranking in the top 50. So if you see a keyword associated with a page there, it is because that page ranked for that keyword, whether or not you had intended that.

Well, that's what I had thought initially, but then it says "Add or Manage Page Grades" which I took to mean I could state I was trying to rank for this keyword on this page etc.

Yes, you should be able to do that as well. If you can't, that is a problem with that tool. Maybe someone from Moz could take a look...

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble! This is totally on us.

A portion of these On-Page Optimization pairings are generated when your campaign is created to help demonstrate how the feature can be used. Unfortunately, the combinations are not always very applicable to the campaign, and you are currently unable to delete these automatic grades.

We realize that this is terribly silly and inconvenient, so we're working to get this fixed up for the future :). I apologize for the inconvenience, but I hope this helps to clarify! Thanks, and have an awesome day!

Would be very nice if this could be fixed soon. It would make upgrading pages more easy, because now often pages are reported having an F grade for  a certain keyword, for which they can never be upgraded to a higher rank, because the page has already been optimized for a different keyword.

I was wondering if in the meantime this fix has been set up yet? Or in which stage of development it is?

I still cannot delete those page+keyword combinations that make no sense.So I guess no solution has been developed yet.

Still would like to know where you stand with this?
